The MALW Website: For Writers who want to Make a Living Writing
Did you ever read something really quickly?
Maybe it was an article or a blog post.
Did you take a double take, thinking “Whoa!?”
Did you read it again and realize how it really resonates with you and makes a lot of sense?
Did you feel as if the author was writing it just for you?
Or actually talking directly to you?
Well, that has been my experience when I read a website and its blog-full of advice, “Make a Living Writing.com” by Carol Tice.
Also, I highly recommend Carol’s Den . More about the Den later…
Carol Tice is a writer, 6-figure earner, and teacher/mentor for writers. She gives oodles of tips and coaching to writers on how to make things work.
I won’t go into detail about all the great things that Carol has to offer but suffice it to say that Carol’s tips work.
She has a blog where you can sign up for free. A regular blog with daily posts that come to your mailbox. But this blog and website is anything but “regular.”
Here is the difference between Carol’s posts and all the rest of our posts: Carol’s posts are helpful tips that the reader really wants to do! Her writing is not just some self-important lecturing or advice that is out there, that most of us have read, been there and done that.
Nope. Carols gives real advice that really resonates and…if you implement it….it works.
You have to do the stuff. You have to do the legwork.
Btu actually, it’s not hard to implement Carol’s tips. Why? Because she goes step by step and makes things seem doable and easy.
Which are all signs of a good teacher. You see, I may not be a 6 figure earner as a writer – as Carol is. But, hey, I’ve had lots of experience teaching, and a key component in teaching is keeping things simple.
Carol keeps things simple. Simple, true, and real.
Oh – and by the way, did I mention her Den?
She has a DEN – like you know, a family room? A Den in a home?
Only this Den is a virtual den where all her paid members hang out in cyberspace and ask questions of the mother. (That would be Carol, the Den mom). It’s kind of like a cool, chilled place to take care of business.
Step by step. Just like you would do in your own den, sitting on your couch (okay, on your chair in front of the computer, but you get the idea.)
And oh – before I forget, let me mention also that Carol is famous for answering every single email from all her subscribers – paid and non-paid. She’s amazing that way.
And now, I will stop this plug, because as much as I like to ramble to others about things that have been helpful to me, I need to get to work!
Have a great day and hope to see you one day in Carol’s Freelance Den (photo for entering in right sidebar). We can wave to each other from one couch to another!
